Meet and mingle with local library administrators while enjoying snacks and drinks at Manuel's Tavern!
PLEASE NOTE: Due to limited amount of space and overwhelming response, we are currently at capacity for this event. We will maintain a waiting list for those who would like to attend, and if we receive cancellations we will contact you and add your name to the event. Please contact us at atlantaemerginglibrarians@yahoo.com with your name and email address if you would like to be added to the waiting list. In the meantime, we are looking at possible avenues for adding more seats to this event. Thank you for your patience!
Attendees will be able to meet and mingle with several Atlanta area administrators from a variety of library types.
Representatives from academic, public, school media, and several special libraries will be in attendance. You will be able to ask questions, learn more about these different libraries, and introduce yourself to the faces behind them.
Light snacks will be provided, and drinks will be available for purchase.
Attendance is limited, so please register early for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn about and meet your potential future employers!

Atlanta Emerging Librarians
Formed in early 2008, this group is intended to create in-person connections between library, information, and media science students, new graduates, and new librarians living in the Atlanta area.
The Atlanta Emerging Librarians group is affiliated with the Georgia Library Association's New Members Round Table.
